Change the Web Server settings for SQLdm Mobile

You can change the Web site address and port number for the SQLdm Mobile Web site or specify a different host computer for the Idera Newsfeed Platform (Repository database and SQLdm Mobile & Newsfeed Service).

To specify new Web Server settings:

  1. Start the SQLdm Web Manager console.
  2. Specify the new Web site address or name of the new host computer. When typing the Web site address, keep in mind the domain relationship between the IIS Server and your corporate network.
    • URL:PortNumber, as in http://LABSERVER:85, if the new Web site uses a port other than 80
    • that
  3. To ensure that SQLdm Mobile can connect to the new platform host, click Test.
  4. Click Save.
